My end users are having their Active Directory accounts locked out more often now, why?

When PatientWorks Security is on users are required to supply their AD username and password to access any part of PW. If a user enters their password wrong more times than your network security policy allows the AD account will become lock just as if they tried to log into a workstation with a bad password.
