Why are the services showing as stopped in PatientWorks Server Administrator on my workstation even though they are actually started?

When you are looking at the status of services in Server Administrator you are actually seeing the status for the local services installed on your workstation. Due to server and network security the PW server does not update you workstation with the server status. To get the actual status of PW services log directly into the PW server and run Server Administrator.
