=== PatientWorks Print Manager ===
Print Manager allows admissions personnel to reprint individual forms without having to reprint the entire admission packet. It also enables the unit secretary to print clinical packets and forms on-demand, with or without patient demographic information. For example, the unit secretary can print all MRI Packets, on their local laser printer, with patient demographics, including bar-codes merged onto the forms. This is also very useful for ad hoc reprints or jam recoveries. Secure access and assigned view filters protect all patient records to comply with [[HIPAA]] privacy standards.

This is the installed version of PatientWorks Print Manager.

==== Web Print Manager ====
This version of Print Manager can be installed to any IIS 5.0 server or greater, and makes a lightweight version of Print Manager available to all areas of the hospital.

=== PatientWorks Data Manager ===
Patient Data Manager automates the process of gathering patient information based on admit type and or service code or any other identifiers in the data stream. It walks the Admitting department through the process of:

*Capturing the electronic signature(s) for the consent form(s) necessary for admit/service code, taking the guess work out of what form(s) need to be signed for a particular admit type. Additionally, a filtered view is provided for all patients that have not signed the consents, with location and bed, enabling registration to find patients to sign consents!
*Capturing patient photo
*Scanning insurance card and driver’s license information
*Producing identification cards for rapid registration
*All images will be auto associated to the correct patient folder within you EMR or Imaging system
*CCOW enabled for context management
*Tablet enabled

Workflow is completely customizable to your requirements. Patient identification improvements can simply be made by placing the photo on the armband. Admitting can verify the identity of a returning patient by viewing the on-line photos and photo identification cards can assist in rapid registration. Insurance and Driver’s license information can be accessed from any PC in the hospital (compliant with HIPAA privacy regulations).

=== PatientWorks Input Manager ===
With Input Manager, Healthcare Facilities can build powerful on screen, form-fill applications. Build custom data entry screens, to produce, printed, electronic, email or faxed output with required information that follows dynamic workflow rules. Input Manager can be utilized for purchase orders, bed side specimen labels, payment receipts, supply requests or any form fill need your organization has. Downtime Registration is deployed standard with every PatientWorks installation. Healthcare Facilities will be able to admit patients even when the Hospital Information System or the network is down. Record lookup feature allows registration to pull forward any previous visit information, to expedite registration.

=== PatientWorks Workflow Studio ===
Studio is a program that assists with creating intelligent print-merge workflow as well as form-fill applications. The drag-and-drop interface provides a simple, easy to use method for adding/editing forms and printers and defining business rules to facilitate conditional printing.

*Generate custom, print-merge and form fill workflows that process incoming patient data via HL7, ASCII text or entered on screen
*Add forms and printers to a workflow application with a click of the mouse

=== PatientWorks Server Administrator ===
Server resides on a dedicated server and runs in the background as a Windows service. It processes HL7 events and/or scans directories for data files sent by the HIS system. Upon receiving an HL7 message or data file, Server launches the workflow application that parses the data, merges it onto your forms and distributes the output to the specified printers. Each patient record can be purged immediately from the temporary cache or saved for future reprint requests.

PatientWorks® Server Administrator
Administrator lets you manage any PatientWorks® Server remotely. Configure printer aliases, manage your workflow applications, configure security and view the audit trail from a single client. The security component integrates seamlessly with your current directory service provider (Active Directory, WinNT, Novell) so there is no overhead with managing additional usernames/passwords. Configure access to individual workflow applications and features for each of your user groups. Administrator also allows you to define a view filter for groups that have access to Print Manager so that users of a specific group can only access certain patient records.

Signature Capture facilitates capturing/storing/printing of the digital signature. (Based on type of admit, or service code etc.) Patient can read consent form(s) on screen and sign an LCD Pad or read a paper copy capturing the electronic signature with a ClipGem signature capture device or sign on a tablet PC.

Any form / image captured by PatientWorks can be integrated to your EMR/Imaging solution auto associating form / image with the electronic patient record.

=== Photo Capture ===
Photo Capture facilitates a comprehensive photo ID solution. Output a photo ID card with demographic data, bar-code and patient photo on the front and with optional magnetic stripe on the back or just produce the patient photo on the wristband. Demographic data is captured from the hospital system and queued for the photo capture client to capture the appropriate photo before printing to any standard card printer, laser printer, fax, email or integrated EMR/Imaging system.
