What hardware can I use to capture patient photos, ID cards, and insurance cards?

To capture a patient photo you can use most any photo capture device such as a web cam or digital camera attached to a computer via a USB. For capturing patient ID cards or insurance cards you can use various scanners, however, for space concerns and allowing for thick embossed cards PW recommends either the Strobe XP 300 (scans 8.5” x 11” and supports single pass duplexing) or the ScanShell 800N (scans 4.2" x 7.0" supports single sided scanning).
